“From now and on, there will be no bloodshed in the disguise of the struggle for freedom and justice in this great country.

Students have to vigilantly preserve the hard-won freedom studying hard and becoming good role models for their younger brothers and sisters,” Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed told Ambo Preparatory School Students yesterday.

During the meeting, the Premier noted that Ambo town is the center of struggle for freedom as a number of its young people sacrificed their precious lives for noble cause thereby maintaining the hard-earned freedom.

He said keeping the beacons of hope in the country is the responsibility of all peace-loving citizens. He also urged the students to learn the good history of Ethiopians and contribute their part in building the nation.

As to him, the students need to embrace the country’s vision in addition to the wider Africans’ aspirations. (E.P.A)
